there she goes again, daydreaming about her future house and how she’ll decorate it knowing she can’t afford a house in this economy ever. and by she i mean me.
boys and men will try to convince you that humans are intrinsically selfish and egotistical because they can’t cope with the fact that women are actually taught from birth to put their community, their friends, their family, everyone on equal (sometimes even higher) footing.
male individualism is completely dependent on the emotional labour of women, and whenever you try to point this out they act like you’re denying basic human facts
i hate talking to men like….like i have to play BOTH parts in the script to keep the conversation interesting bc they’re just like “that’s fair” or “yeah totally” like anytime a guy tries to talk to me im like …pls have a thought ready to go. i cant keep this pace up for much longer
lmao THAT or the other extreme where they lack the basic self-control required to have a normal conversation and instead they command the entire conversation in that fucking ted talk voice ‘teaching’ you things you already know
Gender is weird and it will forever be weird, but I’m starting to think about what it means for me to be a woman, and it feels alright. The line between non-binary and butch is tricky and my mind straddles it all the time. Anyways, I appreciate gender inclusivity in all your gay talks because that’s where it belongs the most! Please be aware not everyone is cis-gender, even those who you think fit into those gender markers you’ve made up in your mind. There are cisgender gays and transgender gays and non-binary gays and we’re all gay and please include us all. So anyways, who knows what gender I am but I’m living it and I still use they/them pronouns for now thank u.
